This week we're bringing you Wind, a 2003 bronze sculpture measuring 27 inches high from American artist Anita Huffington. This is signed piece number 4 in a limited edition of 9 castings and is represented by our dealer friends at River Stone, 37 West Broad Street, Haverstraw, New York.

The rural Arkansas studio of Ms. Huffington is an unlikely place to create such classical beauty, yet she has managed to capture the Greek and Roman ideals of elemental beauty. You can place this sculpture on a tabletop surface or on a display stand, as Noel Jeffrey and The Jeffrey Design Group did in the study they did for the 2007 Kips Bay Decorator Show House (see photo below). Mr. Jeffrey said that this sculpture by Franz Von Stuck is one of his favorite room elements: "I think it's strong and adds majesty to the room."

We think Wind would add beauty and majesty to your home, too.
