Poufs

Grandcanyon Square Poof, Pasargad Home: chunky, tactile cotton and jute blend in ivory, blue, and brown

The word pouf or pouffe is derived from the French bouffer meaning to ‘puff’ or ‘blow out.’ It also refers to an elaborate style of female headdress. In dressmaking it referred in 1869 to a part of the dress gathered up in a bunch, and in 1884 also referred to over-stuffed cushions.
