This week we're bringing you a Gilded Clock Face, from Marston Luce Antiques at 1651 Wisconsin Avenue NW in Washington, DC. This 19th century European clock face features gilded roman numerals and intact hour and minute hands, a black painted face, and an impressive 29-inch diameter.

European clock faces have been all the rage in home decorating. They add large scale to any room, like this wall clock on the cover of Veranda magazine, a piece from David Teague and America Designs in beautiful Lambertville, NJ.

We think our Gilded Clock Face would look great in your home, too. For a more in-depth discussion about European clockfaces, see my By George! interview with Design2Share. And visit Bond & Bowery for the item detail page on this beautifully-scaled decor piece.
